As Rhone's first in-house creative hire, I was tasked with building the company's creative function from the ground up. What began as a one-person design operation evolved into a fully functioning creative studio supporting marketing, ecommerce, retail, product launches, brand campaigns, email, social media, and paid advertising.
As the team grew, I hired, mentored, and led designers while establishing the creative processes, workflows, and systems that allowed the studio to scale alongside the business. I partnered closely with leaders across marketing, ecommerce, merchandising, and executive leadership to ensure creative was not only visually compelling but strategically aligned with business objectives.
Building the studio from scratch taught me that great creative organizations are built on more than strong design—they require clear systems, collaborative partnerships, and a culture that empowers talented people to do their best work. That experience continues to shape how I approach creative leadership today.
